Gooralie is a mixed farming property situated near Goondiwindi, on Queensland’s fertile Darling Downs.

After a lifetime of producing lamb and beef the natural way, we chose to establish a free-range breeding herd to produce pork in a natural, outdoor environment.

Gooralie Free-Range Pork is Free-Range in accordance with Australian Pork Limited’s (APL) APIQ Free Range Certification and RSPCA Guidelines.

We produce and deliver pork to the consumer which is supreme in taste and tenderness.

This is achieved through keeping our pigs in a stress free environment allowing them to be “As happy as....” That is why the quality and taste of our pork is superior.

We endeavour to grow our own grain. Our pigs are fed a natural, nutritiously balanced diet free of chemical residue, antibiotics and hormone growth promotants.

At the beginning of 2015, Kingswood Farming Company (KFC) completed the construction of our now operating mill and grading shed. With the vision of being able to clean, grade and bag our own linseed crop, our family designed this purpose built shed on our property “Kingswood”, in Bungunya Queensland. We soon realised that we had the means to use our grain to develop our own line of stockfeed. After purchasing a mixer and bagging line, KFC Stockfeed was born!

Scorching summers and frosty winters make the perfect olive. They are the exact conditions we experience seasonally at Nunyara, near Inglewood on Queensland’s southern downs. It’s the State’s prime olive growing region for a reason. The right balance of sun, water, aridity and temperature all contribute to the special flavours of our olives. Lake Coolmunda irrigates our crop and gives its name to our products.

The climate, so typically Mediterranean, allows us to experiment with different types of olives. We’ve planted Spanish Arbequinas and Manzanillos; Greek Kalamatas and Volos; Cypriate Koronieki; and North African Barouni. All have unique flavour traits and all thrive in our Australian soil. We’re just a three-hour drive from Brisbane, so a trip to Coolmunda Olives should be part of any weekend in the west‚ itinerary. With so many flavours to try, drop by for a tasting next time you’re in town.
